The Dolphins (3-7) look to make it four straight wins as they visit the equally Dallas Cowboys (6-4) on Thanksgiving Day.
While the Fins are coming off wins over the Chiefs, Redskins and Bills, the Cowboys have also had recent success–and against some of the same teams. Their last three wins? Seattle, Buffalo and Washington. Dallas is now tied for first in the NFC East with the Giants and feeling good about themselves with a much easier road ahead than New York.
This will be the seventh all-time Thanksgiving Day game of the Fins and in the previous six, they have fared very well, winning five and losing just one. To take a trip down memory lane with some of those very memorable games, check out this week’s LIST, which examines the rich history of Dolphins football on Turkey Day.
Note: There is a poll embedded within this post, please visit the site to participate in this post's poll. When two hot teams get together one must turn cold and the question this week is which team that’ll be. For a more in-depth look at what the Fins have to do to ensure that they are the team that remains on track, check out Congemi’s Keys to Victory.
On the injury front, the Dolphins will be without kicker Dan Carpenter for a second straight week, but outside of that are looking pretty healthy. The full injury report for both teams can be seen here.
For more on the Dallas perspective, you can go Behind Enemy Lines and check out what coach Jason Garrett, LB DeMarcus Ware, safety Abram Elam, and broadcaster Brad Sham have had to say about this week’s game.
Finally, here’s a video preview, where Kim Bokamper and I get you ready for the game–and if you won’t be attending this one in person, all the information on our gameday coverage can be found here. Happy Thanksgiving and Go Dolphins!
